I used to wear thigh length compression shorts underneath some nice short workout shorts that had pockets for my phone, keys, etc. so though I would try a combination solution that I though these shorts would offer. These workout shorts do have a nice soft feel against the skin but the sizing is odd and they don't provide enough support for the male anatomy. I had bought these before and had the same issue. I'm hesitant about changing sizes as the outer shell seems to be about the right size. Its just that the liner offers no real support when performing any vigorous athletic activity. My solution has been to wear more support underneath these shorts but that is not the most desirable solution. It may actually be unfortunate that hey are so durable since if they wore out I would have to replace them and maybe there is a more supportive solution I could find.
